Kajabi and HighLevel can both sell courses, build pages and automate follow-up, but they approach the job from opposite directions.
Kajabi starts with the knowledge business. It is built for courses, coaching, memberships, communities and digital products. HighLevel starts with lead management. It is built around CRM records, opportunity pipelines, conversations, calendars, forms and workflows.
That difference matters more than the headline number of features.
Kajabi vs HighLevel pricing
| Entry plan | Monthly price | Annual price | Approximate GBP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kajabi Basic | $179 monthly | $1,716 yearly, equivalent to $143 monthly | £132.10 monthly or £1,266.41 yearly |
| HighLevel Starter | $97 monthly | $970 yearly | £71.59 monthly or £715.86 yearly |
| Ready Made Marketer (HL/RMM) | £79 monthly, including VAT | £790 yearly, including VAT | About $107.05 monthly or $1,070.46 yearly |
Kajabi’s price includes its course and creator ecosystem, but plan limits apply to products, contacts and websites. HighLevel’s headline price can be lower, although email, phone, SMS, AI and other usage may be charged separately. Ready Made Marketer (HL/RMM) is built on the HighLevel core and includes unlimited everything in the system with no gatekeeping for £79 a month or £790 a year, including VAT. RMM gives you 10,000 emails free every month; after that, additional sends are around $10 (approximately £7.70) per 10,000 emails. Some advanced features such as AI carry a small usage-based charge. You can see the current RMM plans on our pricing page.
Kajabi is better when the learning experience comes first
Kajabi is a natural choice for an established course creator who wants a polished product library, community and creator-focused experience without designing a complex CRM.
Its strengths include:
- course and digital-product delivery;
- a coherent experience for creators and students;
- websites, landing pages, email and checkout in the same environment;
- less pressure to design a detailed sales pipeline.
Kajabi may still be more than you need if you only sell one simple course, and the cost rises as the business requires more products or contacts.
HighLevel is better when the sales journey comes first
HighLevel is stronger when a sale begins with an enquiry, application, call or follow-up sequence rather than an immediate course purchase.
Its strengths include:
- flexible CRM and opportunity pipelines;
- detailed workflow automation;
- booking calendars and appointment follow-up;
- websites, funnels and forms linked to the contact record;
- broader sales and service journeys.
The trade-off is setup. Flexibility creates more decisions, and direct subscribers need to build a clear structure or risk owning an impressive platform they only partly use. If you want to test the raw platform yourself, you can start a 14-day HighLevel trial. Before making a choice, you can see what RMM includes for a connected setup.
What about support?
Kajabi offers a mature creator platform and its own support resources. HighLevel can be bought directly or through a white-label provider. Ready Made Marketer is one example for UK businesses, combining the HighLevel core with templates, training and human help.
Customer feedback supplied to RMM repeatedly mentions the value of practical support. Kelly-anne Riley Smith said she moved from low confidence with technology to setting up things she hadn’t expected to manage. Rachna Stear reported creating a website, four funnels and migrating her mailing list within weeks.
Verdict
Choose Kajabi when your main priority is a polished course, coaching or community experience. Choose HighLevel when your main priority is a flexible CRM, appointments, lead follow-up and automation across a more complicated customer journey.
If you want HighLevel’s breadth but don’t want to implement it alone, add the quality of the provider’s training and support to your comparison.
